Dear Trade Partners,
We would kindly like to update you on the latest developments around our vessel deployments and periods of operation both in the Aegean and in Cuba for the remainder of the 2017 and 2018 season.
You may be informed that our decision is that the 2017/2018 Celestyal Cruises Cuba operation will not be a year round one, rather than, a seasonal Winter operation with Spring touches; this means that we shall be having the Celestyal Crystal deployed in the region until beginning March 2018 with the last departures as follows: MNG, March 2nd 2018 / HAV, March 5th 2018.
The new itinerary and the 2018/2019 deployment period for our Celestyal Crystal in Cuba will be announced and shared with all trade partners shortly. It shall be drafted on the same notion as per the above update, meaning that it shall be a seasonal winter operation from around mid-November 2018 up until second half of March 2019.
In light of the above and further to the respective feedback we have been gathering from our global clientele, we shall be deploying the Celestyal Crystal instead of the Celestyal Majesty on the newly launched ‘New Idyllic Aegean 7day Itinerary’ as of April 30th 2018. Before that, and straight after the completion of the Cuba operation on March 12th 2018, the Celestyal Crystal will be replacing the Celestyal Majesty on the 3&4 day Iconic Aegean Operation as of March 30th 2018.
Those latest developments around the deployment of our Celestyal Crystal dictate the revised maintenance period for the vessel, which has to be effected from August 29th 2017 until and including October 18th 2017. Respectively, the deployment of the vessel in Cuba will be amended to allow for the required maintenance as follows:
1) Last departures for August 2017:
From MNG: Aug 18, 2017
From HAV: Aug 21, 2017
2) Re Starting of Operation in 2017
First departure from MNG: October 20, 2017
Frst departure from HAV: October 23, 2017
Passengers with confirmed bookings on the cancelled sailings (August 28-October 13,2017) have the following options:
A) Full refund
B) Transfer their booking to another departure until and including March 5, 2018 under same terms / conditions.
